3: 3 in Aue: HSV awards victory in Torspektakel

Second division leader Hamburger SV left two points on Friday evening. In the game at FC Erzgebirge Aue, HSV did not get more than 3: 3 (3: 1) despite two two-goal lead.

Of course, the bottom line was that the trip to Aue went much better for HSV than last season ( 0: 3 ). But coach Daniel Thioune and his team didn't want to be happy after the final whistle - despite the tenth game in a row without defeat. For that they had come too close to winning three points over and over again in the course of the game. "After we played dominant and deservedly led in the beginning, the end result is annoying," said Thioune.

In the end it was only one counter, now there are 41 in total. The front runner Hamburger SV threatens that the pursuers VfL Bochum and Holstein Kiel (both 36) will move closer in the course of the 20th match day

Terodde puts HSV in the lead

After the whistle, the guests quickly lived up to their role as favorites, especially on the left wing they caused danger. Aue was able to thwart the first advance of the Hanseatic League in dire straits (12th).

In the second attempt, however, the top favorite was allowed to cheer for the rise. After captain Tim Leibold hit the ball far into the penalty area from the left, Bakery Jatta dropped the ball over Aue's goalkeeper Martin Männel. The game device would probably have found its way into the network without further support, but striker Simon Terodde stormed up and headed to the lead (14th).

Kinsombi increased for Hamburg

And HSV stayed tuned. When Moritz Heyer shot, the post was in the way of the 2-0 (16.). Six minutes later, however, this intermediate result was a reality. David Kinsombi played with a lot of effort diagonally on Sonny Kittel, who fit after a few steps on the right flank in the center of the penalty area - directly into the run of Kinsombi, who scored 2-0 without humor (22nd). Hamburg triumphed in the style of a future climber - offensively, mind you.

On the defense, the guests turned out to be too carefree for the first time a little later, and the "violets" punished that. After a counterattack, the former Braunschweig player Jan Hochscheidt shortened to 1: 2 (26th).

HSV with a perfect answer to conceded goal

The Thioune team did not (yet) falter. On the contrary: she got the perfect answer. After a daring tackle by Clemens Fandrich to Kittel, referee Florian Badstübner (Windsbach) decided on a penalty - a little too early. With a clever interpretation of the advantage rule, Leibold's hits would have counted shortly after the whistle.

So it was at Terodde, and the goalgetter delivered. He scored 3: 1 (30th) from the point with a sharp shot into the lower left corner. For the 32-year-old it was already the 19th goal of the season, against Aue already the tenth of his career. Hamburg could even have gone into the break with a clearer lead.

Hunt gives 4: 1 - soon it is 3: 3

Shortly after the restart, the championship leaders could have made everything clear very early. Aaron Hunt, who came just before the break for the injured Jeremy Dudziak, put the ball on the post (49th).

That took revenge immediately: After Jatta had messed up the ball in midfield, the hosts took advantage of the following weak defensive behavior of the HSV attacker - Fandrich shortened to 2: 3 (50th) with a low shot.

Ten minutes later it got even worse for the guests: HSV keeper Sven Ulreich fended off a header from Gaetan Bussmann, but Florian Krüger artistically took the bouncing ball out of the air and shot it in an arc to 3: 3 (61st) rear corner. In the period that followed, the Auers had slight advantages. The gate spectacle was not continued.
